During a meeting in which a sweeping majority of 245 NRM Mps in attendance voted in favor of the motion moved b Kyaka MP Jackson Rwakafuzi, only Monica disassociated herself from the group saying that she had come for a consultative meeting on land issues and did not see reason as to why her fellow NRM Mps were quick to make all party members consent over a matter they had not consulted their constituents about.
